Giljaland is 140 ha. forestry land. The land is partly overgrown with birch and willow bushes. Over 100,000 forest plants have also been planted here including, pine, aspen, birch, poplar, elm, larch, pine, and many others. The oldest part was planted in 1979, and it has now become a beautiful young pine forest. There are footpaths around the bush and the forestry part and nice viewpoints on the cliff above the forestry where you can see the glaciers, down to the sea and up to the highlands. Many types of forest fungi and wild berries are growing on the farm in late summer, which our guests can pick for their own use.
